Asics Hyperspeed 4 and Asics Speedstar 5. I alternate because otherwise the Hyperspeeds don't last very long and the Speedstar's cushioning is nice to have on the concrete. Speedstars look ridiculous unfortunately, but they are good neutral shoes. How was the lifespan on the New Balance's CJ? Do you run on concrete w/ them?
I'm on my second pair of Nike Lunar Glides and love them. I wanted to try the Lunar Eclipse but the colors available weren't very masculine. That's right, style is much more important to me now since their is a likely chance I'm going to go weeks without running a step. The Glides are also light enough that I can use them for racing.
I gave my Minimus to Jesse before going to South America. I only bought them because I had just finished reading Born to Run and drank the minimalist shoe Kool-Aid. They were basically racing flats with less cushioning.
New balance minimus, although I might go back to the Nike frees 3.0.
ReplyDeleteI'm in Mizuno Precisions. I'm not sure they are for everyone, but they have been a good, stripped down trainer for me.

ReplyDeleteI found the New Balance Minimus to be too unforgiving. I went back to the Nike Free's 4.0, I love them, work great with gay new form.
ReplyDeleteThe soles on the Minimus are too stiff, they didn't allow my foot to flex and bend like a butterfly.
